Jenny O’Connell (they/them) is a classically trained actor with over 10 years of experience. Most recently the short film they starred in, “June’s Kitten”, won “best experimental short film” at the Chain Film Fest in NY. They also originated two off broadway roles, Mary Kate in Morgan McNaught’s “Camp Champ” and T in Makaela Shealy-Sachot’s “Earthshine”. Both productions included non binary people in prominent creative positions on and off stage.

Jenny received their B.A in Film Studies from Purchase College, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and studied acting at the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting’s Intensive Program. After graduation, Jenny continued to hone their craft by studying with Joseph Pearlman at the Pearlman Acting Academy and with Peter Jensen of T. Schreiber Studio, focusing on film, theater, and commercial acting techniques.
Not limited to one creative pursuit, Jenny has also carved a path as a model. They have appeared on the cover of Babipunk Magazine and Blaze Magazine, along with editorials featured in publications like Adolescent Content, Paper Magazine, Pursuit of Portraits, THEM, Marika Magazine, and Beau Nu Magazine. Along with modeling, they are also a classically trained pianist and singer with 20 years of experience in classical and contemporary piano performance.
Jenny’s artistic journey is far from complete; as a queer and non-binary person in the entertainment industry, they hope to use their voice and perspective to entertain while defying expectations. They are excited to be on the stage and screen again and look forward to making more art.
